These terms apply to our website and, where relevant, enquiries, quotations and catering bookings.
Enquiries and Booking Confirmation
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking.
A booking is confirmed only when we have accepted it in writing and the agreed booking conditions have been met.
The quotation and written booking confirmation will set out the agreed services, price and applicable arrangements.
Quotations and Pricing
Quotations may take account of the event date, location, duration, guest numbers, menu, staffing, travel, setup and any bespoke requirements.
Quotations are valid for the period stated in the quotation. Changes to the agreed requirements may affect the price. We will explain any revised charges before they are agreed.
Any applicable taxes and additional fees will be explained in the quotation.
Deposits and Payment
The deposit amount, payment schedule, balance deadline and accepted payment methods will be specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Our deposit policy must be finalised before bookings are accepted.
If payment is overdue, we will contact you to resolve the matter. Any consequences will be handled in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable law.
Changes to Your Event
Please notify us in writing as soon as possible if the event date, location, timings, guest numbers, menu or requirements change.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, subject to availability. Any additional costs will be discussed before being agreed.
Cancellations and Postponements
If you need to cancel or postpone an event, please notify us in writing at info@thecrumblebrothers.co.uk.
We intend to operate a notice-based cancellation policy. The applicable notice periods, cancellation charges, deposit treatment and refund arrangements will be set out in the quotation or booking confirmation before the booking is confirmed.
Cancellation charges must be fair, transparent and proportionate to the circumstances. We will not rely on a charge that is unlawful or unfair.
A specific cancellation schedule must be agreed before this policy is used for bookings.
If we need to cancel an event, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available arrangements, including any applicable refund.
Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Event Access and Facilities
You must provide accurate information about the venue and event arrangements.
Where applicable, please confirm vehicle access, parking or trading space, setup and serving times, venue permissions, site restrictions, power requirements and relevant safety arrangements.
If circumstances make it unsafe or impractical for us to operate, we will discuss reasonable alternatives and apply the agreed booking terms.
Menu and Allergens
Our menu may include classic apple crumble, mixed berry crumble and a selection of toppings.
Gluten-free and dairy-free options may be available by prior arrangement. Bespoke crumble creations can also be discussed, subject to feasibility and availability.
Please tell us about dietary requirements or allergies before booking. We will provide the ingredient and allergen information available to us and explain relevant cross-contact risks.
We will not claim that a product is completely free from an allergen unless that claim can be substantiated.
Menu items and toppings may be subject to availability.
Bespoke Requests
Bespoke flavours, menus and additional catering arrangements must be agreed in writing. Any additional charges will be included in the quotation.
We reserve the right to decline requests that cannot reasonably or safely be accommodated.
Weather and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Severe weather, venue restrictions, vehicle problems, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect mobile catering.
If an issue arises, we will communicate with you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss practical alternatives. Any cancellation, postponement, payment or refund will be handled in accordance with the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
Our Responsibilities and Liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and comply with applicable legal requirements.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those requirements, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Website Content and Intellectual Property
We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current. Menus, photographs, prices and availability may change.
Photographs are illustrative and the appearance of food may vary.
Our branding, original text, photographs and other website materials may not be copied or used commercially without our permission or another lawful basis.
Privacy and Cookies
Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy above. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Policy above.
Complaints
If you have a concern about a booking or our services, please contact info@thecrumblebrothers.co.uk. We will aim to investigate and resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update our website terms from time to time. Changes affecting an existing booking will be handled in accordance with the terms agreed for that booking and applicable law.
The latest version will be published on our website.
